Privacy Policy

Periodical is a youth hockey development journal operated by Transcendental Sports AI (TSAI). This policy describes how we collect, use, and protect information when you use the service.

Who this applies to

The service is used by athletes, parents/guardians, coaches, and staff. When an athlete is under 18, a parent or guardian should create and manage access on their behalf.

Information we collect

Account information: email, name, sign-in provider identifiers
Profile and roster data: nickname, position, team affiliation via TSAI roster
Journal and benchmark entries you or your guardian enter
Security logs: sign-in attempts, session events, MFA usage (no journal content in security logs)

How we use information

Provide the journal, benchmarks, trends, and optional AI coach insights
Authenticate users and enforce security controls (session timeout, MFA)
Support admin provisioning and support requests through TSAI Watson

Sharing

We do not sell personal information. We use subprocessors listed on our Subprocessors page for hosting, authentication, email, and optional AI features. Coaches and admins may see roster-linked data according to your organization's TSAI roles.

Retention & your choices

You may export journal data from Profile or request account deletion from Profile → Account deletion. Contact your organization administrator for urgent privacy requests.

Children

We design for guardian-led accounts for minors. Do not register a child without guardian authorization. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13 without verifiable parental consent.

California residents

If you live in California, the California Consumer Privacy Act as amended gives you the right to know what personal information we collect and why, to request its deletion or correction, to request a portable copy, and to not be treated differently for exercising any of those rights. A parent or legal guardian may exercise these rights on behalf of a child. We verify requests before acting on them, and we respond within the timeframes that law requires.

We use service providers to host and process information on our behalf; they are listed on our subprocessors page and are contractually restricted to processing it for us.
